Mozart contained! is an interactive musical experience in several containers.
The Rondo in A minor (KV 511) by W. A. Mozart is the framework for the second container – the cycle, the organism into which we invite.
Repetition changes perception – with each further repetition, with each further movement, more space is opened up, like layers that are slowly peeled away. Sequences of sounds are listened to without expectation until the ear recognises and anticipates a rhythm, a melody.
A is not equal to A, A is A plus, A is A varied, A is A ornamented according to the sheet of music – the piece does not change, but the viewer does.
