A work-in-progress on
transformations,
installations
and visions
in the context of Spot on MozART.

In two open workshop phases, students of the Department 08 / Stage and Costume Design, Film and Exhibition Architecture, as well as teachers of the University Mozarteum Salzburg met with employees of the Red Bull Media House. Sounds in a minor key by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the fascinating visual worlds of the film and image archive of the Red Bull Media House were examined and explored. Extreme contrasts and surprising similarities, images and sounds were mapped onto each other in transformational processes. The approaches of this research launched a creative process with an intentionally open-ended outcome: the Great Fair meets dangerous descents, the Lacrimosa meets an energy drink from a can, discussions meet interpretations, emotions meet visions.
